This is the Zelex SLE Torso Collection ZX108 J body, with the ZXE215_1 head. The body of this torso model is based on the full sized Zelex SLE Collection ZX160 J body – minus the arms and legs below the thighs.
The SLE Torso Collection from Zelex is their revolutionary new line of torso dolls that they have developed to further maximise quality at an even lower price point than ever. To achieve this, they have developed their own proprietary “SLE” material in house, using their original silicone formula as a baseline, and removing most of the limbs.
As limbs make up a significant amount of a doll’s weight, creating a doll without them significantly reduces the weight and cost, while maintaining the overall life sized proportions of your doll. Creating a doll without limbs also allows for greater flexibility for storage options.
SLE stands for Safety Less-Vinyl Elastomer, and this formulation has the benefits of silicone, including its chemical resistance and toughness, while giving it an added elasticity, durability and softness that is more akin to TPE.
Each one of the dolls from the Zelex SLE Torso Collection features many of the high end features of their more expensive silicone range, including movable jaws, realistic body painting, and gel breasts and buttocks. The wig, eye colour and makeup are as pictured.
