Zelex Inspiration Series

Continuing their winning trajectory as one of the most exciting innovators on the doll landscape, Zelex has released their new upgrades, adding some oft requested features, and introducing some pre existing tech into their line.

With five additional features to their lineup of silicone dolls, Zelex has solved several problems peculiar to silicone materials, and enhanced what was already market leading features.

The additions cover softness, aesthetic detail and functionality, each of them contributing to an overall increase in realism, whether visual or tactile.

Replaceable Labia

Something that has existed for some time in the doll marketplace, removable/replaceable labia have long been features found in silicone dolls made by companies such as Realdoll and DS Doll, with varying levels of success, based on comments from end users.

Most dolls created by Chinese factories sculpt the labia as part of the body sculpt, and those that have removable vaginas utilise an insert that pops into place inside a cavity. 

There have been requests from the dollosophere to make the labia part of the insert, and Zelex has responded by adding this as an option. They currently have three different types of replaceable labia to choose from:

 

The labia protrude from the insert when it is placed into the body’s cavity, creating a more realistic view of this area.

You may see a slight gap between the edges of the labia and the edges of the cavity’s opening, however a conversation with a rep from Zelex confirmed that the fit is snug, and that they’ve eliminated excessive movement of the insert inside the cavity.

Softer Breasts and Kneadable Buttocks

While silicone is reasonably hardy, that also means that it can be hard, which doesn’t make for great realism when it comes to having a squeezable doll.

Silicone dolls from Zelex already had the gel breasts option, which allowed for very soft breasts, and this new addition takes it to another level.

Solid silicone dolls also suffered from very hard buttocks, and for the ass men out there, this made silicone a “no”. 

The Inspiration Series features both breasts and buttocks that have a more realistic softness and squishiness. This is achieved by making these areas with a combination of foam and gel.

Best of all – this option is currently free. This may change, so it pays to take advantage of it while it lasts.

Colour Sealed Body Makeup

ZELEX was already a market leader when it came to realistic body painting. Achieving a high level of humanlike realism, with veins that appeared to be beneath the surface of the skin, variations in skintone and random details, they wanted to increase the longevity of this effect.

The ZELEX Inspiration Series introduces enhanced body paint, with a video that shows no effect after cleaning with alcohol. 

ZELEX’s own marketing statement says: “With long standing expertise in wax makeup processes, ZELEX has life like skin details, from the head to the whole body … In order to make your doll stay with you longer, ZELEX has developed a new colour sealing process, so that the makeup of the head and body is more solid and durable than that of previous products”.

Realistic Jaw Functionality

While most dolls can only hold one oral pose, the new ZELEX Inspiration Series enhanced oral functionality means that three of the soft silicone heads can have their jaws positioned in various poses, from fully open to closed.

These heads are GE53, GE45 and GE07.

To further enhance the realism, the jaw appears to operate independently, avoiding the distortion of the eyes, and other areas of the head, when opened or closed.
